Cinnirí

Ratoath College has a Prefect System. 22 of our senior students have been selected for the role of prefect and they are known as Cinnirí. These senior students assist staff in a number of areas including Mol an Óige and extracurricular activities. They also perform an important role in supporting our 1st Years as they settle in to the school; Cinnirí are assigned as points of contact to each 1st Year class and are always on hand to offer help or a friendly listening ear. They are all exemplary students and are role models for our younger students. With responsibility comes privileges and so they have their own Seomra na gCinnirí (opposite Room 31) which houses their lockers and has tea and coffee making facilities as well as a study area.
