Jack Wiley

jack w Name  Jack Wiley
Age
23
Class of  2013
LC Points:  500
3rd Level Course:

Business Studies (Finanace), DCU

Why did you choose this course?

I chose this course as it had the option of one-year work placement before graduating.  Also, the wide range of modules taught in first and second year before specialising in a chosen field in final year was great in terms of studying a wide range of modules.

How long is/was the course?

4 years

Current role / employment:

Trainee accountant at KPMG Ireland.

Best career achievement to date:

Too early to say.

Have you any advice for our current students?

Enjoy school and get involved in extra-curricular activities and school trips. The 5 / 6 years in school go by so fast so make the most of it to ensure you have memories to look back on. In relation to the exams, just work hard and believe in yourself.

Best memory of Ratoath College:

I would have to say the China trip in Transition Year. That was a once in a lifetime experience. The class of 2013 graduation night was also a great night to bow out with friends made over the 5 / 6 years in school.
