3rd Level Course:

BSc Multimedia

MSc Digital Marketing

Why did you choose this course?

I chose to study a Bachelor’s in Multimedia in Dublin City University (DCU). It was a 3 year degree made up of a wide range of media production modules including web design, graphic design and video production. I chose this course because I wanted to do a practical course where I could be creative. After finishing this course, I worked in video production for a few months until I decided to study a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, also in DCU. Here I studied modules such as digital advertising, web development, content marketing and social media marketing.

How long is/was the course?

BSc Multimedia: 3 years

MSc Digital Marketing: 1 year

Current role / employment:

I am currently working as a Marketing Coordinator in The Irish Centre of Digital Business, situated in DCU. My role involves working on a wide range of client projects to develop marketing strategies, design websites and run advertising campaigns.

Best career achievement to date:

I am only at the very start of my career but my biggest achievement to date would be getting to work with a brand as prominent as Siemens.

Have you any advice for our current students?

My advice would be to work hard to get to where you want to be, but to also enjoy your time in school. I have so many fond memories from when I was in Ratoath College and you will miss it when you are finished! Make the most of your days in school while you can.

Best memory of Ratoath College:

My favourite memory in Ratoath College was going on the 1st year trip to Italy!
