Important Information re: Leaving Certificate Results 2019
Please read the following important information carefully pertaining to the up-coming Leaving Certificate results, please follow the instructions as given by the State Exams Commission below:
This year, in order to access all services (access to results, applying to view scripts, viewing scripts marked online, and making an appeal application) candidates must register on the Portal. This must be done over the coming days.
Link to Information about the portal is here https://www.examinations.ie/misc-doc/EN-SE-43530282.pdf

The school has provided each Leaving Certificate candidate with:
A) Their personalised PIN letter and Candidate Information Leaflet (issued mid-May)
B) A copy of the Candidate Information Booklet (in schools last Thursday)
Despite this documentation and a number of reminders, the registration rate on the portal is extremely low so far. We have a concern that students might only realise that they need to register for the service very close to or after the date of results issue. This will create difficulties for students in August which we are keen to avoid.
Leaving Certificate students should register now for the Candidate Self Service Portal on www.examinations.ie in order to have access to the Leaving Certificate Results, Viewing and Appeals services in August. To register students will need their exam number and PIN.
The SEC will issue the Leaving Certificate Results on Tuesday August 13th.
Round one offers will be issued on Thursday, 15 August.
Round One offers will be available to view online from 2pm, and successful applicants will also receive offer notification by email and text message if they have selected this option. There will be no postal offer notice in Round One.
The reply date for Round One offers is 23 August at 5:15 pm.
Round Two offers will be available to view online from 28 August at 10 am.
