Cashless System & On-line Ordering and Payment
We at Get Fresh Catering are delighted to reopen our canteen provision in Ratoath College. We are also delighted to introduce our cashless pre order prepay on-line system which will allow us to comply with school protocols to prevent the spread of covid-19. We have developed this Pre-order pre-pay system in 2020 and will strive to ensure quick service of high-quality foods delivered to each individual Rang. This is in the context of queuing now and for the foreseeable future not being facilitated in the school.
The installation of this system will future proof an enhanced service provision for the students when covid-19 recedes and our dining hall with counters are reinstated, facilitating a tap and go at our carvery styled point of sale. For the moment however the service will operate exclusively online with pre-order and payment.
How it works
To get started you need to purchase your student card from a member of the Get Fresh Catering team in the school.
These are available from Thursday, 8th October.
There are two options, either a €5 card that is valid for two years or a €10 card that is valid for six years.
Your card will have a unique account key to facilitate your setting up of your account on your PC, laptop or mobile device. It is vital that you retain in a safe place this unique account key number as should a card be misplaced it can only be disabled by a member of our team using your unique account key.
Your account is then fully integrated to our till system in the canteen. When you place your order, the information you provide to us (name, unique identification number, year group and rang) will facilitate us to receive and produce your online orders for the appropriate time and delivery to the appropriate rang.
In these unprecedented times the school have developed a protocol of zoning year groups to areas of the building. Limited movement is permitted within these zones. This measure is to keep students safe, mitigating the possible spread of the virus.
To deliver our service efficiently for each student, we therefore need to collect the following information when you are placing your online order:
Junior Cycle
Junior cycle ordering for mid-morning break must specify their rang and year group at period 2
Junior cycle ordering for Lunch break must specify their rang and year group at period 4
(This is to ensure each student can be located at service times)
NB. Your midmorning break must be placed as an individual order. Your lunch time break must be placed as an individual order, therefore if you wish to order for both midmorning break and lunch break, you need to place two separate orders. We acknowledge that this is not ideal but given the way the students are being zoned it is the only way the system can work. Orders can be placed up until midnight prior to next day service.
Senior Cycle
Senior cycle ordering for mid-morning break must specify their rang and year group at period 3
Senior cycle ordering for Lunch break must specify their rang and year group at period 5
(This is to ensure each student can be located at service times)

Important Notice
As your school is exclusively pre-order and pre-pay (using debit/credit card) you do not need to top up the cashless card for now. You do however need the cashless card number as part of the pre-ordering process.
Step by Step Instructions for Pre-Order
- On your PC, laptop, smart phone or tablet, go to website https://touchtopup.net
- Click [Sign Up] – fill in required details
- Click [Create Account]
- Enter Account Key – from your card
- Click Continue – your account is now set up. Do not top up the card.
- Logout of https://touchtopup.net
- 7.On your PC, laptop, smart phone or tablet, go to website https://https://getfresh.ieand click on your school crest and it will take you direct to your school pre-order page
- Select the name of the school your child attends (you do not need to do this if you used the link from https://getfresh.ie)
- Select the morning break or lunch menu for the day you would like to order for. NB Please remember if you require an item for the mid-morning break and an item for lunch you will need to place separate orders for each.
- Select the products you would like to order
- When you have selected all the items you require proceed to checkout
- Confirm all is correct and hit next
- Complete all fields on the order details screen including ticking the box to indicate if your order is for morning break or lunch and hit next. NB It is essential that you input the correct rang for the correct period, as specified above for junior and senior cycles.
- On order summary page check again all is correct, tick the box to confirm acceptance of terms and conditions and if you have any special requests or notes about your order enter these in the box provided then hit pre-order
- On the billing screen insert the card details for the debit/credit card you are paying with, then hit pay & pre-order to complete the payment
- You will receive an email confirming your order and order will be ready for collection at the agreed date and time.
- Please note if your order placed ok and you do not receive an email confirmation you may have entered an incorrect email address.
