This year, due to the ongoing public health measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, we always knew that our Parent-Teacher-Student meetings this year would likely take a different format. On Thursday 5th November, we received guidance from the DES in relation to what these changes might look like.
Having engaged with this guidance and following consultation with the staff, the school has decided that, in lieu of the normal Parent-Teacher-Student meetings, parents and students will be provided with an additional comment-based report around the time that PTS meetings had been scheduled. These will be available on ePortal in the same way as regular school reports. Parents will have the opportunity to arrange for a subsequent phone consultation with their child's teacher if they wish.
The first year groups scheduled for a PTS meeting are 3rd Year (Thursday 26th November) and 2nd Year (Thursday 3rd December). To allow staff time to complete the additional reports, these dates will be postponed to Thursday 3rd December for 3rd Years and Thursday 10th December for 2nd Years. The additional reports will be made available to parents of these year groups on these dates.
Dates for the remaining year groups will remain the same per the school calendar, but are subject to change.
