5th Year - Return to School from Monday 15th March

Welcome Back e1578368161392

We’re looking forward to welcoming our 5th Year students back to the building on Monday (15th March). See below some important practical information for 5th year Students and Parents.

Parents - Please ensure you have filled in a HPSC Declaration Form in respect of your son/daughter in 5th Year.

5th Years – Ms Flynn has also posted this information to Teams.

 Start Up

Start/Finish Time: Class timetable as normal, with the exception that there will be no Assembly in the morning. The school building will be open from 8.30 every morning and class will start at 8.50. 5th Years will use their usual entrance/exit at the rear of the school at the gym. There will be no staggered finish for the next two weeks - 5th Years will finish at 15.30 on Monday-Thursday and 13.15 on Friday.

School building– You will be based in the main school building in the same base rooms as previously, with the exception that classes based in the Fitness Suite will now take place in Room 36. 5th Years should continue to use their usual entrance/exit at the rear of the school at the Gym.

Break times: Will be outside the back of the school on the basketball courts. No student permitted indoors during break times.

Full uniform is expected from Monday onwards.  You must be in full PE tracksuit on the days you have PE.

Device and headphones - It is recommended that you bring with you a device and headphones for lessons as a back up plan should they be required.

Masks- Students must have a mask on them and a spare mask in their bag.  The school is not in a position to be supplying students with these.

End of Year Assessments We are currently developing plans for how best to conduct end of year assessments and will advise students and parents as soon as these are finalised.

More information on the school's Covid-19 response plan, policy and procedures can be found here.

We are really excited and looking forward to seeing you all on Monday morning.

Ms Flynn
